Strong, stable, attractive, with very good natural resistance to rot & insect infestation, fir is used for: framing lumber, finish lumber, trusses and laminated beams, exposed beams & timbers, ceilings, sidings, flooring, moldings, door facing & jambs, bridge & construction timbers, veneers for plywood.</div> <bR> <div> WESTERN RED CEDAR - Relatively weak, stable, attractive with excellent natural resistance to rot & insect infestation, western red cedar in used for: sidings, ceilings, decks, fencing, finish lumber, exposed beams & timbers, and to a limited extent veneers for exposed plywood applications.</div> <bR> <div> CYPRESS - Moderately strong, stable (when kiln dried), attractive, with superior natural resistance to rot & insect infestation, cypress is used for: finish lumber, sidings, ceilings, exposed beams & timbers, doors, outdoor furniture, and cabinets.</div> <bR> <div> SOUTHERN PINE - Strong, moderately stable, abundantly available, inexpensive, attractive upper grades, with relatively poor natural resistance to rot & insect infestation, southern yellow pine is used for: framing lumber, finish lumber, trusses and laminated beams, ceilings, flooring, treated wood products, and veneer for plywood.</div> <bR> <div> SPF / ESLP - Moderately strong, stable, abundantly available, inexpensive, with very poor natural resistance to rot & insect infestation, SPF and ESLP are used primarily for framing lumber, and finish lumber.</div> <bR> <div> EASTERN RED CEDAR - Strong, stable, attractive, aromatic, with superior natural resistance to rot & insect infestation, eastern red cedar is used for: sidings, finish lumber, exposed beams, rustic porch posts, cedar closet lining and chests, and outdoor furniture.</div> <bR> <div> LONG LEAF PINE -
