Here are some timbers we were fortunate to get our hands on recently. These 12×16-40′ timbers were used in part of the underwater construction of the Sellwood Bridge in Portland, OR. They were sunk in the Willamette River in 1924, salvaged a couple of years ago, and are as solid and straight as the day they were put there! 90 years of current has worn some of the wood away leaving about an inch of knots above the surface!
